In Yogyakarta, our beloved city, traffic jams occur every day at points that become routes for workers and students to move from their homes to work and school locations.
Recurring congestion in the longer term tends to occur during the holiday season and Eid. During the arrival and departure stages, severe congestion will occur on roads outside the city (for example, Jalan Magelang, Jalan Solo, Jalan Palagan and Jalan Wates). In the range between these periods, congestion can be felt in the city center as a place to stay and tourist destinations (such as Malioboro, Prawirotaman), as well as roads to tourist objects, such as Jalan Parangtritis.
